Accommodation information

I am looking for the accommodation’s address. Can you give it to me?

Zoover.co.uk does not have access to a database listing the addresses of different accommodation. A Tour Operator will probably be able to provide you with the information you are looking for.

The accommodation I stayed at isn't mentioned on the site. Can I add it?

Lots of accommodation is featured on our site. Use our search engine to check for accommodation. If you can’t find a specific accommodation we will be happy to add it. Please fill out the appropriate form here.

At which tour operator can I book accommodation?
In most cases the tour operator is mentioned at the top of the page above the reviews. If this is not the case, we have no information regarding which tour operator offers a specific accommodation. We don’t have a seperate data base for accommodation information and therefore are unfortunately not able to assist you any further.
Can I book accommodation at Zoover?
Zoover is an independant website where visitors can review accommodation and destinations or read those of others. We don’t offer any accommodation but do mention the tour operators you can approach in most cases. They are mentioned above the reviews.
Can you send me more information regarding accommodation, a destination, country or Zoover itself?
Zoover doesn’t have information brochures. Any information we do have is available on our website. We would recommend you visit your local tourist office or travelagent.

Reviews

How can I upload a review?

You can Review a destination and accommodation in 2 ways.
1) Use the button ‘’Add review’’
Select the appropriate information which will automatically lead you to a form where you can fill in a review.
2) Use the map and surrounding countries
Using country, region or location you will access a page that allows you to add a review.

How can I contact a visitor that has upload a review?

Visitors who upload a review can make their email public if they want. When they have done so you will be able to click on their name and send them email. If they didn’t want to make their email public, they can’t be contacted.

I uploaded a review today, why isn’t it featured on the wesbite?
After uploading your review you will receive a confimation email from Zoover. Activate the link in this email by clicking on it. Your review is now being processed by our editing department. The editor will decide whether or not to place your review. It can take a day or more before it is eventually placed.
How can I edit my review?
Once your review has been placed on our webiste it’s not possible to edit it anymore. At the bottom of every page you will find the link ‘’Contact’’. Use this link to let our editing department know what you would like to change.
Why have my photos been placed on the website but not my review?
Our editing department decides whether or not a review is deemed appropriate. It can be that your photos are approved and placed sooner than your review. If the review is also approved you can find it on our website after a day.
Why has my review been removed?

In order to assure our wesbite remains independant, reliable and suitable for a large audience we have certain guidelines. All reviews are checked by our editing department to this end. If a review is deemed inappropriate they are removed. If you disagree with the fact your review has been removed please contact our editing department.

How can I report abuse?

At the bottom of each review it says ‘’Report abuse’’. By clicking this link you reach a window where you can let Zoover know what’s wrong.

How independant is Zoover?

What philosophy does Zoover believe in?
The Zoover team consists of avid travellers and internet users. We believe in our website and the quality of our reviews for this reason. The amount of visitors and users on our website grows each day as do the number of advertisers. We do intend on keeping the amount of advertising in check though. Our motivation can be found in our slogan: Holidays start with Zoover!
How is Zoover financed?
We don’t receive any commision from travel sales in order to remain as independant as possible and avoid a conflict of interest. We finance ourselves through the advertisements you find on our website. We try to be as subtle as possible with the placement of these adverts.

How does the rating scale work?
In order to give an accurate score we give a median by calculating all international reviews. As soon as we have sufficient international ratings we calculate this median.
Can I only read a review in English?
The original review is posted first. Click on your respective flag to change languages. All specific reviews that are available in your language will be listed. If you would like an overview of all reviews in your language please click the globe.
Why does Zoover feature reviews in other languages?
Zoover is an international website whose origins lie in The Netherlands. Our goal is to provide as many international reviews and photos as possible of various accommodation and destinations around the world. We translate as many reviews we can. In the event a review isn’t available in your own language please refer to other reviews that are.

Photos and Videos

How can I view photos and videos?
Above the reviews you will find tabs, among them ‘’Photos’’ and ‘’Videos’’. Click these tabs to view the photos and videos of an accommodation or destination. If there are no tabs this means there are no photos or videos to view (yet).
How can I upload a video of an accommodation and/or destination?
Search for the accommodation or destination you want to review. On the righthand side of the screen action buttons will appear. Click the action button ’’Add video’’. Follow instructions and upload video. The video won’t be visible on the site immediately, it can take some time.
How can I upload photos with my review?
Search for the accommodation or destination you want to review. On the righthand side of the screen action buttons will appear. Click the action button ’’Add photos’’. Follow instructions and upload photos. The photos won’t be visible on the site immediately, it can take some time.

Weather information

How reliable is a 14 day weather forecast?

New technology has enabled more reliable weather forecasting however the actual weather depends on many different factors. Long term forecasts are generally less reliable than short term ones.

What/who is your source for weather forecasts?

Zoover works in cooperation with weeronline. This dutch company is owned by well known and respected weather man Gerrit Hiemstra who works for a dutch television broadcaster.

Where can I find the 14 day weather forecast?

You can find it on our homepage by clicking the link that says: ‘’The weather whilst on holiday’’. Follow the instructions to find the weather at a specific location.
