We stayed in this hotel 3 times over the years. We found the rooms cramped, but a reasonable price/ value. This time was different. Two problems were obvious: 1. The room, on the third floor, looked out on the alley. A most unattractive view. Unless the hotel was full, such rooms should be used as a last resort. As the lobby area was almost always empty during our 4 days there, I doubt they were full. 2. The breakfast restaurant served terrible food. Eggs were undercooked, fresh fruit was overripe, if not rotten, bacon was overcooked and dried-out. After one such meal, on the first morning, we looked again the second morning, saw the same thing, and walked down the street for breakfast. We didn't bother to even look on future days. Obviously, we didn't eat dinner there. The tables had dirty dishes that stayed during our breakfast. NEVER AGAIN.
