This is a really nice hotel. Everything was well maintained. The best thing is the unlimited use of the thermal baths in Bad Hofgastein. You can get there using the tunnel and the free robes. The baths are divided by the family bath. There's a relaxation area and a lovely sauna. The dining room was really nice and the view of the mountains from the restaurant was amazing. The hotel was quite expensive but if you plan on using the pool a lot (is expensive if you want to use it once but is lovely after a day of walking or biking) then it really is worth the money. The family room is spacious but the beds are next to each other. The downsides: the food is too salty, the bells that are rung are quite noisy as the church is next door and the mattress, especially on the sofa bed, was too hard. The area is lovely. I can recommend the Salzburgercard which is quite cheap and there are some lovely places you can visit using it. One of the reviews said this hotel was too chic for children but I have to disagree. The atmosphere is relaxed and the hotel doesn't feel stuck up.
