18/04/2010 This camping sites is located in a beautiful area. It is surrounded with green fields with yellow wild flowers and pines trees. There are lots of choices to spend the day in the camping sites and its nearby historic towns.

19/06/2008 The location was great. A beautiful environment. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The new chef at the restaurant was great. We ate here twice and it was delicious. Martin and Marleen, good luck during the high season!

18/06/2008 We stayed at Petite Suisse last year. It was not well kept like last year. I almost broke my neck because of all the weed ont the steps, outrageous! The personnel seemed to be tired and the season just started. The restaurant was very poor. Dirty cutlery, poor service. We went to another place to eat, just outside the camping site (the drinks in the canteen were very expensive). Little privacy compared to last year. All tents were located close to each other. Clan sanitary, a beautiful location, friendly tour operators.

13/06/2008 We went during the May holiday and had splendid weather on the camp-site la petite Suisse and therefore this story is perhaps not wholly unbiased. This perhaps becomes clear to you if you take the effort to read on. Our first impression was that of a busy, somewhat messy camp-site, afterwards we soon modified this impression. We had a wonderful week in splendid surroundings
with good possibilities to go for a walk and a wonderful pool and shopping could be done in a small but well-sasorted camp-site shop which sells warm bread on a morning. Also we have wonderful dinner at our son's who, together with his wife, will run the restaurant from April 2008. We know that they are putting 200 percent effort in it and we wish them lots of luck with this challenge. Martin and Marleen, make this a great success together with your 4 children!

14/06/2008 Stayed 10 months on the camp-site (winter spot)
When we left we were not asked for our opinion, so here we are, certainly not a sign of being customer-friendly. Wife of owner was incredibly unkind and unpleasant. Furthermore, there is no management and supervision of staff. Toilets and showers under the restaurant are very outdated and outside of the Dutch holiday season very unclean.
The chippy does not meet Belgian legislation (loose hair etc.) chicken satay without satay sauce etc.
Everywhere there is garbage and nothing is finished, you would think this is a camp-site in a developing country. Roads are veeery dusty.
You pay 4 euro to keep you dog there or 65 euros for 10 months, a fat profit when yo do not keep dog poop facilities or to rules at all.
Bill for energy was one of 0.25KW/h, when at home in Belgium (Limburg) it is 0.16KW/h (Ecopower), another fat profit therefore.
We already left after a month and they won't see us there again. The only positive thing is the location and the surrounding area, but it is certainly not a 4 STAR camp-site and they will never become the campsite of the year this way, a shame.
New management in the restaurant AGAIN? the 3d change of management in 10 months.

27/05/2008 Beautifully located camp-site, places of mobile homes by Vacansoleil are at the left-hand side (upon entry) camp-site is too small and not well-maintained, no privacy.
family restaurant with a minimum of quality. Splendid area in the Ourthe, la Roche, Durbuy.
