De sanctuary zelf is erg leuk, hebben van ZEER dichtbij rhino's gezien. De campsites liggen mooi met voldoende sanitaire voorzieningen. De huisjes zijn veel te duur voor de kwaliteit en het restaurant is mooi maar van de beperkte menukaart was het merendeel niet beschikbaar. Wat het personeel betreft......het blijft Afrika.

Wij hebben hier 1 nacht geslapen in een prima chalet en vlakbij het lekkere restaurant. In de vroege morgen hebben wij een wandelsafari gemaakt op zoek naar neushoorns en gevonden !. Was een zeer spannende ervaring om zo dicht bij te zijn.

Khama is een prachtig (maar klein) park in het hart van Botswana. Zeker de moeite van het bezoeken waard als je bijvoorbeeld op weg bent van/naar Moremi of Chobe (via de zuidkant). We hebben daar gekampeerd, en de campsites zien er zeer goed verzorgd uit en zijn ruim van opzet. Sanitair was goed en er is veel wildlife (inclusief de Rhino natuurlijk) te zien. Een aanrader voor een avontuurlijke tussenstop.
