This is a newly built campsite that has been open for just over 18 months, it is privately owned by nick and nicky and they have have obviously put a lot of thought and effort in to it , it is a very peaceful site with stunning over the local valley, the shower block is amazing and would be the standard of any 4/5 star hotel - the cafe is terrific / wonderful with home cooked food and very well priced - i would recommend the home made cakes by nicky - nothing is too much troulbe for the nick and nicky and are one of the most hopistable camsite owners that we have come across- i am aware that they have started on the construction of thier swimming pool which is due to pen in a few months - i would throughly recommend this campsite to anyone visiting bulgaria

This site is a real gem, modern high standard facilities, free wifi. Restaurant on site serving great food at reasonable prices. Lots of local information and Bulgarian guide books available and the views are out of this world. The staff & owners are friendly nothing is too much trouble, arranged taxis for us and gave us a hand out in Bulgarian to help us get back to the park ! Apparently there will be a swimming pool in 2011 which will be a definate bonus in the summer. Will be back.

Camping Veliko Tarnovo has great sanitary facillities. They are higher standard than many in Western Europe. We had a great time. The cafe/bar serves great freshly prepared food. Nicky's cakes must not be missed - she cooks them every day in the summer.
