Campsites Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré (Charente Maritime)

Lovely campsite very good wash block, kept very clean. It would be nice to have a wash basin at the end of each row of toilets. It would be better to have caravan cassette emptying facilities away from ,toilets, the smell is awful. We loved the swimming pools and the poolside loungers. The situation was good, the shops of Bois Plage were easily accessible on foot or by bike., there is a really good cake shop called Maison Marin there. I recommend the Coupe de Soleil . You can easily reach the southern parts of the Island by bike routes. We have stayed at the Campsite at least 4 times....

At night, we could hear some noise from the beach, and path outside. It's not related to campsite...

The only thing that could be improved in our mind is the wifi connection on site. We had to go to the shower block or restaurant in order to connect to the internet and that was a bit inconvenient. But apart from that we enjoyed a brilliant holiday and are hoping to return next year....

The mobile home we stayed in was one of the older ones which was fine as it was comfortable and had everything necessary, except a way to light the gas hob. Who thinks to buy matches these days?
There was not enough room in front of the mobile home for our car so parking and unloading/packing was difficult.
Pool etc were great, clean and very quiet apart from the weekend when there was a group of teenagers throwing a frisbee - dangerous in a family area and ignored by the lifeguard who only seemed to put in an appearance on the weekend....
