When we arrived, the reservation was incorrect (I think being redirected from skoosh to the hotel created a mixup) and we had an older room with two double beds (we wanted a renovated queen/king).
The desk staff was helpful and happily exchanged our room but in our second room the carpet was paint-stained and torn, as well as dusty from obvious recent handiwork. This room was not ready to be occupied but we were placed in it anyway which was disappointing. Afraid of being downgraded as it was our second attempt, we settled. The bed was fantastic and the tv/decor is beautiful, but they are obviously not fully in touch with the rooms they offer or they simply tried to fill them all.
Also as a last note, valet parking is presented as optional but essentially isn't (a valet takes your car from the front doors before you can inquire about the self-parking option). This was an unexpected $30 fee (even self-parking was $17). Be prepared for this.
