Wangfuijng is the best place for shopping in the city of Beijing. Xidan and Silk Street are the largest shopping centres. The shops are opened between 9.00 and 19.00.
The local food strongly resembles Mandarin cuisine. The most renowned dish in the city is Peking duck and most restaurants serve it. Manhan Quanxi is another local delicacy. Lots of tourists can be found in Qjanmen Quandjude Roast Duck, a famous restaurant where both dishes are served.
Tea is really important in China. This is the reason why there are so many teahouses to be found. They offer numerous kinds of tea, always prepared in a traditional fashion.
The area near Sanlitun has lots of clubs and pubs. There’s plenty of variety, and the bustling nightlife in Beijing will make your holiday complete.
