26/10/2011 Wonderful destination for the people who look for interesting, not commercial place. The place which has very reach history and offers lots of attraction. We participated many interesting free concerts with classical music, ethnoambient music in Salona and many others. Additionally we hiked to the mountains behind Kastela. Even though not very high gave us wonderful experience.

25/09/2011 I would like to share with you all the beautiful areas of Kastela, located between Split and Trogir and just a stones throw from Split Airport. The area which is no so well know as a tourist attraction but is a real pearl... Located just on the cost without heavy traffic by the sea is a great place for people who are looking for combination of wonderful sea, beaches and Croats with small number of tourists. Kastela by itself has lots to offer. Lots of concerts, festivals, performances entertain you throughout the summer. Additionally Kastela is located in very strategic excursion location. By bus, car, bike you can get to many tourist attractions like Trogir (6km), Split (15km), Salona (10km), Kozjak mountains just behind. Many other can be reached by car or bus within less than 1h drive like Makarska, Omis, Sibenik, Krka ect.
