Reviews Campsite Stobrec-Split****

06/01/2013 Good campsite in a good location. Bus stop outside to Split which runs pretty regular into town.

Campsite is very dusty though so if you want to wash clothes it's hard to get them dried without dust from cars driving past getting them dirty again.

The sanitary facilities are excellant though and no fault with them - although you do have to pay to use the showers.

The beach is nice and roomy even at high season.

It is pricey during high season but overall not too bad.

The ground is hard so you'll need hard ground pegs or a lot of patience and strength.

You have to pay for wifi and there is also computers available in reception which you need to pay to use. No point in these though as the children tend to hog them for hours!

18/09/2012 We stayed her in august 2012 with our 3 children and we had a great time. The boys had a very good time because of de beach, the “divingboards” and the kids-club (including the sportsevents every evening). The sanitary and the campingplace is clean (also the beach!), and they kept it clean all the day. Small supermarket at the entrence of the camping for first needs en fresh bread every morning. In the neighbourhood are nice places, like Split, Omis and other places. Next year again!!

23/11/2012 Spent 14 nights at Camping Stobrec . Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The layout of the site makes it feel like home.
The facilities were spotlessly clean at all times. The showers cost around 20p for 7 minutes. Restaurant produced very good, reasonably priced meals though on the night we visited the Chef had gone off sick and no replacement was available so no meals.
A separate area of beach was allocated for dogs and at the far end a diving board was available for swimming. The rest of the bay was very shallow and you could walk out for over 100m up to waist level.
There was a bus from outside the camp entrance to Split, which ran every half hour.
The small shop on site provided adequate supplies and there was a large supermarket only 100 yards or so from the entrance in Stobrec.
Using ACSI made this an excellent value for money site and we would highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

02/08/2012 Camp Strobrec in Split is great both as to location, accommodation, beach and quality service. We can really recommend it for families with young children.

17/07/2012 The view was great -
Room was not cleaned by site staff - we cleaned it ourselves
Aircon did work for a day - was repaired eventually
Gas was off when we moved in - was restored 2 hours later

Otherwise everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

18/06/2012 Friendly, helpful, unformal and prompt solving of small problems. Location with seafront and nice beach (gravel). Well equipped bungalows.

08/02/2011 last summer we spent two weeks at this campsite, great location, clean sanitary facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. restaurant is also very good, and we did some excursions frome the campsite, rafting trip was great experience for us and the kids.when we come back to dalmatia,we'll deffinitely stay here again

21/06/2009 I travelled to split and stayed at this camp site for 5 days with my elderly parents one whom is disabled. The staff were very proffesional and very helpfull one young man made sure that my disabled father had his own keys for the disabled showers and bathroom and took great care of my father he constantly asked if he needed assistance and was on call all the time. On leaving this campsite we went to Korcula and I forgot my passports.I called and the receptionist had them taken to the Jardolina Line head office and delivered on the next ferry to Korcula. I was handed the passports by the captian. this was 5 star customer service and I am very gatefull and would recomend this site to old ,young, and disabled. the sire is beautiful and well looked after!
