Reviews Hotel Donat ***

Most likely as it was in September and end of season, the whole place looked and felt like it was about to be bulldozed down. But for the money you get what you pay. The room had all kinds of small things missing like plugs, buttons and other things badly in need of replacement (duvet, curtains) which were dirty and had a very musky smell. They gave us the option or a seaview, or a part where a lift was working. In the lounge random lights were working and no atmosphere and the bar staff didn't really like to have customers.

i had read some bad things about it but all in all it was not so bad. There were some things we came across but i think you have to look beyond that a bit, and especially don't let it influence your holiday. The rooms were clean and so was everything else. They really took good care of that. the food was also good, but often the same things. The staff, except for a few, were not so friendly. The beds are hard and not very good for your back. The soft drinks were fake and not drinkable. The animation was not much either. Too bad, but i really can't get upset about it, cause we haven't spend that much time at the hotel anyway, We find our own fun.

After reading the reviews here, we were prepared for the worsed, but it was not so bad. It was very clean and the cleaningladies were scrubbing and cleaning all day long. There was a beautiful swimmingpool, beautiful lawn right at the sea and the hotel. The food was also very good. There is a busstop nearby to go to the town of Zadar ( very cheep) The only thing negative is the animationteam, not a lot to do at night
