There was a lack of information and communication about the opening hours, the temperature, etc. The people weren't very friendly either and there was no service what so ever. The park was lovely. The pros: the three pools which were fresh and clean. They are closed one day a week for cleaning. The beach with shingles. The water was lovely and clear. There was some grass where you could lie down and enjoy the breeze. The restaurants serve amazing food and it's not too expensive either. There was live music every night (was on a bit late at times; 2.30). There was almost no shade near the pools or the apartments. We were given a different apartment then the one we had expected. It wasn't luxurious. The a/c was pay per use so as we were here during a heat wave it cost us an extra 24 euros a day to keep the place feeling cool. There wasn't enough storage space for linen, food or drinks. The staff weren't at all friendly. We had to get our travel agents to return our passports which was difficult even though we had paid in advance.
We've just got back and we feel really disallusioned with this campsite. It was supposed to be child friendly (suitable for even the smallest children). Well, there were two small playgrounds with old fashioned material and not much variety. The swings are too high and they were slippery and the whole playground is covered in gravel which is mixed with glass from the broken beer bottles etc. There's an old boat children can play with which isn't safe as it has nails sticking out. We weren't convinced by the see-saws or other the other bits and pieces. The playgrounds in other places were the only places are children could be safe. The caravans aren't in a great position either. It's nice if you want to be private as you're bound not to really talk to the other people. We on the other hand choose to stay on a campsite because we like talking to and meeting new people. We would definitely never come and stay here again.
