01/10/2007 We were there from 09-15-07 till 09-30-07. The hotel was indeed very tidy, spacious rooms and everything was adjusted for invalids with us. In the late season they appearantly prefer large groups over their own hotel guests. Because of this the food was a bit limited and the partying went on till 01.00 at night in stead of the usual 21.30. The welness is pretty nice, but you can get in even if you are not paying, like we, nicely paying english found out. The swimmingpool was freezing cold, although the weather was just very good. All in all a beautiful hotel. We did not find Umag too exciting but its nice to visit it.

23/09/2007 We returned 1 week ago. We booked a 10 day trip with a tour operator, that was very doable. The hotel is very good, friendly personnel, pretty pool, big. We stayed at the attached building. Was within walking distance from the main building, only 50 meters. The food was good and had a lot of variation. Nearby the hotel are some shops and restaurants (you can eat here for 7.50 euros/person). The train to Umag centre is perfect for only 10 kuna (1.30 euros). 60 minutes walking distance.

24/09/2007 From the 31st of August - the 9th of September we stayd at this beautiful hotel. We stayed at dependance Pinea. The food was very good. Every day in big dining rooms. At the 7 in the evening it was super crowded at the restaurant. If you arrived at half past 8, then you would be the only person there. The personnel has more time for a chat then. The rooms was very big, with a big balcony. The lobby was very pretty, nice for a rest. Umag itself was a bit of a disappointment. We stayed there on a Sunday, we expected it to be crowded, but there was nothing to do there. I really recommend Venice. If I ever visit Croatia again, then I would go there by car, the public transport wasn't that advanced yet.

23/09/2007 From the 31st of August - the 9th of September we stayed at this hotel (with Solmar). Super beautiful hotel. We had a room in the attached building Pinea. The room was very big. Free safe and free fridge. The food was very tasty, a lot of variation. Around 7 everyone rushed to the restaurant, very crowded. Around half past 8 you were the only one eating there. Then you could make more contact with the personnel. Umag itself was a bit of a disappointment, we stayed there on a Sunday, it was very quiet. In the brochure we read that there was a beach (pebbles). We didn't find it. There were rocks and concrete blocks. You'd better lie down at the pool. I recommend going to Venice by boat. In the neighbourhood wasn't a lot to do for youngsters. If I would return there, then I would go there by car. The public transport wasn't that advanced yet.
