22/10/2007 Unfriendly staff, in the restaurant as well as at the reception, food was often very greasy, like the french fries, meat….The fish-dishes were especially tasteful, bad service at the reception, had to wait for a mechanic for 2 days to come and open the safe, that constantly went on error, so we did not get to enjoy istrie for two days cause that man did not show up. Rooms are on a very steep hill you have to climb atleast twice a day to get to the restaurant and the facilities. Very hard for the elderly and those who have trouble walking, not to mention people in wheelchairs.

23/08/2007 Nice, clean and modern apartments. It's about a 15 minute walk into town. The rooms weren't cleaned as often as we would have liked and we didn't have enough towels. The pool was clean and spacious but there wasn't any shade. The pizzas are nice but the snacks are pretty much finished by the end of the season and they didn't really refill anything. The prices weren't that cheap and I didn't think Vrsar itself was very cheap either.

17/08/2007 Beautiful location with hotelrooms as ajoined bungalows. The paths they are on are a bit steep but you can also get to your room or apartment by the many stairs. Peope that have troube walking should take this into consideration. Other then that a lot of credit!

27/07/2007 This is an amazing hotel The receptionist wasn't very friendly. The staff in the restaurant were really nice and the food was amazing! We stayed in room 237 and we had an excellent view of the sea. Rovinj and Porec are really nice places. The ice-cream in Vrsar is really nice too.

12/06/2007 Stayed in the Petalon hotel from the 1st - 10th of June. I had an amazing time. The view of the sea was just amazing and I loved the balcony. The staff here were really friendly. I walked to Vrsar, a friendly and atmospheric village, which is only a 15 minute walk down a path with a great view of the sea. We also went to Pula, Rovinj and Porec and I can recommend a visit. These places are all fairly near Vrsar. We will definitely come and stay here again. That's something I know for sure.

01/01/2007 This is a really nice hotel which is really near the sea. The food in the hotel is amazing and it is really nice to go and eat out in Vrsar. Vrsar is within walking distance but you can also take a train. The room and the shower are all really well maintained and we had clean towels every other day. In other words: We had a really amazing holiday.

18/11/2006 Really nice complex. It was clean, tidy and quiet. The apartments were quite small but the furnishings were nice. The a/c was a godsend. The balcony was tiny. The harbour was really dangerous. People swim here as well. The restaurants were really nice but the ones in town were better. The prices were really reasonable. All in all this place has everything you might need for a successful holiday.

08/11/2006 The prices here were 10x less than we were used to. You can go clubbing for 5 euros a night.

28/08/2006 I had a really nice holiday. The location is ideal. It's really near the sea and it's within walking distance of the centre. The apartments were lovely and the bathroom was really luxurious. We had a kitchen with a microwave and there was a/c in the living room and in the bedroom. There was a really nice pool. There were lots of really nice restaurants in town with friendly service and tasty food.

20/08/2006 The apartments were really nice. They were all on the ground floor. Some of the apartments had direct access to the bay. This place was completely renovated in 2005. This place could have been cleaner. We were here for 11 days and they only cleaned once. We had to ask for clean towels. There was a large salt water pool. I can recommend eating in Vrsar (the Frost!!!) is amazing. The location is ok but it isn't great for people with a disability as the village is up a hill (15 minute walk).
