Het was een gerenoveerd boerenhuis. Heel erg donker binnen, ook overdag moet je lampen laten branden. Harde bedden. Geen restaurants of winkels op loopafstand. Twee elektrische pitten is veel te weinig om voor 6 personen op te kunnen koken, kooktoestel wordt in zijn geheel erg heet, inclusief zelfs de knoppen.
Inrichting bestond voor een groot deel uit antiek (was identiek aan meubelen uit een naburig museum).
Zwemwater is stuwmeer wat voornamelijk door vissers gebruikt werd.
Na afloop krijg je een gepeperde stroomrekening. Gehanteerde tarief is 2-4 keer wat wij gewend zijn en wat in Tsjechië ook normaal is. Toen bleek ook dat de eigenaar ineens minder buitenlandse talen sprak dan bij aankomst.
