Reviews Bed and Breakfast Veranda View

08/08/2010 We stayed for 5 days in Veranda View with our 4 children. With our family we rented both rooms en with the spacious veranda we had enough room to live and enjoy the nice view. The beach in front of the house was (almost) gone because of the wild sea the time we were there but nevertheless we had the opportunity to swim just downstairs. The rooms were adequate and clean. Little opportunity to cook for ourselves (also because the shops in the village do not offer much choice). Breakfast was simple but when we asked for more the owner was willing to provide it. Nice place to explore the north of Dominica. The kids enjoyed the (unspoiled) beaches (Pirates of the Caribbean) and smalle rivers, hiking to Chaudiere Pool, rowing on the Indian River etc.
