We went to Riu Bachata for the 5th time and we still love it. Nice food and a lot of choice. Everything very clean, the bars, restaurant, rooms and swimming pools. Staff is very friendly and polite.

Close to the city. Ideal spot if you don't want to hang around on the beach all day. Dress-code is casual, so good for young people as well. Plenty of entertainment. The excursions are nice but expensive. Entertainment at night is very good as well. If you like to gamble go to the casino, very cheap because the peso is hardly worth anything.
