Have just return from a magical 2 weeks here. The whole complex is set in beautiful surroundings lovely gardens to wander around. The beach was a stones throw from our room. We had upgraded to Golden and it was well worth the money, we had our own pool and section on the beach. The complex was ony 30% full during the week days so there was no hassle for sunbeds. It was busier at the weekends as 'locals' use it for thier weekends away.

The rooms were nice and airy and the air con was a welcome respite from the heat. The rooms were cleaned every day and our towels were folded into swans or fans, finished with flowers was a lovely touch.

The restuarant food was a delight with a wide choice every day. The Tex Mex was our favourite for a lunchtime snack.

Evening entertainment could have been more polished but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Just loookout re currency...take dollars ..most shops take them or pesos... Dont use a card as you loose out on exchange rates

We just got back from this resort, rooms were old but clean. Very big complex. Food was ok, a lot of choice and 4 theme restaurants. Very friendly people and good animation with great shows each evening. Beach isn't as good as that of Punta Cana (dark sand, not clear water, and it's somewhat remote.

I had to call them three times to get the toilet fixed. They came three times, but they didn't fix it well. They will clean the table when you're just a minute away to get something to drink. Very annoying.

Price/quality good, we went here in june 2006. Varied food, lot of swimming pools, theme restaurants. It was great! Excursions are way too expensive, $100 for a simple excursion. Go book locally. Mind the sand fleas, I had around 50 on one leg. Everyone is bothered by them there.

Mega hotel where you're locked behind an iron gate, nothing to see outside the hotel. Looks like Benidorm but a lot more time flying. Restaurants try to make the food look good, but that's about it. Theme restaurants are even worse. The worst vacation ever. We don't want to go back even if it was free!

Good food. A lot to choose from. Kind and helpful personnel. Good entertainment. Good shows. A lovely and quiet location. A lovely beach. I'll be back in September for the third time. One of the best hotels ever. Price/quality-ratio: good. Reasonable prices.

Very nice apartment complex with really good service. We've been to this resort the last 2 weeks of June. Good food especially in the theme restaurants, rooms looked nice, good service. Not much to do apart from the hotel, this is typical for this country. Good price/quality. Although the excursions are incredibly expensive (nothing to do under $100). Book locally, go to the shops on the beach, cross the small bridge and there you can book excursions. Try to bargain some. A lot of sand fleas though. I had over 70 bites on just one leg. A lot of people were complaining about this. I brought several products from Belgium, but nothing seemed to help. The tour operator should warn people about this.
