Standbeeld van Maria, op een heuvel in de stad. Leuk om te bezoeken met bus of taxi. Vandaaruit een mooi uitzicht over de stad!

Beschermengel nodig? Nou niet als je in Quito loopt.
Hier staat namelijk een enorme beschermheilige op de berg die over de hele stad waakt!
Echt een geweldig mooi gezicht, zeker omdat deze 's avonds verlicht word en echt een centraal baken is voor de stad.
Je kunt overdag per bus of taxi de berg op om het beeld van dichtbij te aanschouwen.
Echt heel indrukwekkend!
