Nuweida consisted out of a long street with authentic Egyptian shops, houses, slums, along the beach. Here have been coming backpackers for 50 years. The beach was lovely, nobody was really pushy. 32 years ago I also stayed there; restaurant "the Blue Bus

Lovely surroundings at sea with a nice beach and on the corner of the Sinai desert. Many daytrips possible, I recommend the Katharina monastery, Petra in Jordan and Dahab for shopping and to enjoy the 1001 lights and scents. In December it was very quiet.

Nuweida was quiet, surrounded by lovely nature. Many daytrip options and a good location for trips in the desert. The harbour of Nuweiba, it was a 60 minutes trip to Aqaba in Jordan by boat. I recommend a week Nuweiba, especially outside the unknown place
