We booked to visit a friend who then had a family berevement and was unavailable. We asked if we could move our booking. Two staff said this was ok, on the phone and then in writing. Only for the accounts manager to then send us an abrupt rude email, informing us it would not be possible, and the earlier staff members had had no authority to say so. She said if we turned up she'd charge us twice. When we called to query this she put the phone down on us. We'd asked to modify the booking, NOT to get a refund. I tried calling later, the first time to a member of staff who was disinterested and said she couldn't do anything, I'd have to speak to the manager later. I duly rang later and was told by another member of staff the manager wasn't in. When I mentioned I had been told to call back earlier she got defensive and rude too.You're not a customer here, but a money sign.
