03/07/2008 I was here in June together with my sister. The hotel has been renovated recently and the rooms are very tidy. It is located close to a metro station which gives you the opportunity to explore the city in no time and also the park is near, which gives you a chance to relax.

04/05/2008 From the 2nd - the 5th of May 2008 we stayed at the Byron. The hotel room (nr.18) was small, yet clean. A bed with a very good mattress and the shower was perfect too. The location, nice and quiet, nearby Hyde park and by bus 94 you could reach the centre in 10 minutes, Picadilly Circus. The only bad thing was the breakfast. Everyday the same poor and sober breakfast and a very muggy restaurant. But in the neighbourhood were plenty of places where you could get breakfast for 5 pounds.

23/03/2008 Small but beautiful and clean room. Breakfast was English. Pity the toaster broke down when we were there. Definitely worthwhile though.

20/02/2008 Small but clean room. Room was located underneath the restaurant and the kitchen and was very noisy. Because of the activities in the kitchen sleeping after 6.30 am was quite impossible. The kitchen ventilation equipment was installed above our room window which created a very irritating buzzing sound 24 hours a day. In order to make trips to London centre the location of the hotel is good, but the room....terrible.

20/02/2008 Very small (but clean) room. Room was located underneath a restaurant/kitchen, where they started to walk up and down from 6.30 in the morning which made it practically impossible to sleep. Besides that the kitchen (ventilation -)equipment was installed just above our window which created a constant very irritating buzzing sound even while the windows were closed. This noise didn't really make us enjoy a good night's rest either. In short, perfect location, lousy room.

26/08/2007 4 days London, 3 nights at the Byron hotel. Not all of the rooms are the same size. Beds are good, Sanitary good too, Fine continental breakfast, English breakfast available too. Good service. Because of its location, near Queensway and Bayswater underground , near the busstops at Bayswaterroad, its a good starting point for visiting London

08/07/2007 Really very small rooms. Pretty clean but i think its more 2 stars then 3. The rooms were clean. Reception staff was friendly. English breakfast wanst to right home for. Breakfastbuffet wanst extensive either. The only cheese they had was some dirty melted cheddarcheese. You have to fill out a form at the reception every day when you want to have breakfast. Not very practical. It was nice that its at walkingdistance from Kensingon High Street. You have to walk through the lovely Kensington park. You can also find some restaurants and shops at Bayswater. All in all, not worth 3 stars and its rates. Tiny, bad breakfast
