15/03/2010 This hotel has perfect setting to head for any part of London, excellent local amenities and transport links although facilities in hotel of high standard also. Only critique is (and I'm not being petty) I was sharing a triple room with family and the heat was unbearable - did ask reception if they could check the airconditioning and was told this had been done, but at night made the room uncomfortable for slleeping even with windows open!! But the fab breakfast spread to 'wake-up' to definitely set you up for a days sight seeing!! Great Hotel have already spread the word and I'm only home 24 hours!!

Very good value for money compared to other hotels in London and a fantastic breakfast with so much choice - would definately stay there again

25/06/2009 Very friendly and attentive staff. Good location. The room we were firstly given was very cramped and smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke,however the receptionist very promptly moved us at our request. The room we were moved to was very pleasant and immaculately clean. We had a very nice breakfast and enjoyed a drink in the hotel bar which was also very reasonable.

25/06/2009 The double room was lovely and clean but very small!! Our friends had a twin room which was a much more comfortable size. Breakfast was excellent and the dining room was a lovely light room looking onto the garden. The bar was cozy and drinks reasonably priced, staff friendly and helpful, and the hotel generally a great place to stay. It's located on a quiet street just behind the main road, close to the tube and local shops, but to walk to the main tourist attractions you need to be fairly fit. We managed to get the room at a good rate including breakfast which I feel represented excellent value for money for a quality hotel in central London. I would definitely stay here again.

25/06/2009 Second time of staying at The George and once again came away a happy customer. Good service, excellent breakfast, room small but clean and comfortable, good location. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

25/06/2009 I was very pleasantly suprised by the peace and tranquility of this hotel in such a busy location in London. The gardens were spacious and beautifully kept with plenty of different placs to sit, relax and maybe have a drink and eat. I had previously been impressed by a stay in the K&K Central in Prague; my expectations were high, and they were all met - including champagne on the basic breakfast buffet - just like Prague.The staff were frendly and very efficient, including he maintenance man I met in the lift. The on site underground car park was unexpeced and a major bonus. Thank you for a great stay.

25/06/2009 Location of the hotel is very convenient, yet amazingly for London was very quiet for rooms overlooking the private garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom modern with plumbing that works!
