31/05/2007 Nice scenic lake between the mountains of the Lake District. From Ambleside or Bownes-on-Wildermere you can make a boattrip to Lakeside, from where you can continue your journey to Havertwaite with the steam train of the Lakeside & Havertwaite Steam Railw
