01/08/2012 Serious Health Risk - On arrival we were shown to a mobile home that was infested with dead birds including bird faeces all over the food counters, eating utensils and appliances. Our 5-year old daughter found the dead bird and she was petrified to the point that we could not stay comfortably in the mobile homes.
Senior Management refused to take any responsibility at all and due to our daughter’s reaction we could not stay there. No part of our 14 day prepaid reservation would be refunded.
They said they have a problem with birds getting into the accommodation!
The Directors refusal to deal fairly with a complaint is a big problem! It speaks to their attention to customers' needs and a totally inflexible approach to a situation that was caused by their own neglect. I had to phone daily and e-mail repeatedly to even get management to discuss this matter with me. IAppalled! We would never go back and feel responsible to tell as many families as possible of this unacceptable situation.

26/08/2008 We had our own caravan, the pitch was a bit small for our outfit and car, some larger pitches had way more space. The staff worked really hard keeping the whole site clean, toilets etc. Entertainment finished @ midnight, and it was generally quiet after that. The lake was lovely,we went sailing and windsurfing, but you have to go right out as it's so shallow. It's huge with beaches dotted around it. Local horse riding was fantastic, highly recommended. Good cycling too. The beaches are fantastic, and you have to try the 'Dune du Pyla'. We had a very nice holiday, although we didn't use all the facilities. Sometimes when you have a captive audience it can be a bit expensive. The Internet was overpriced.

29/06/2008 Lovely camping with large spots. Sanitary is fine and clean. Beautiful pool and the sea is fantastic (VERY WILD, so dangerous for small children). The environment is not that good but that's the same everywhere along the coast. We will definitely come back!

22/08/2007 We had a super vacation. Big spots, but there were also small spots. The pool water was indeed very cold, especially for the adults, the kids didn't mind. Only 1 heated deeper pool. Temperature around 30 degrees Celsius. Cycling in the surroundings can be super, but the road from the camping to Biscarosse Plage was very dangerous. You would have to bring along the bicycles. The lake was super, not deep at all. The sanitary facilities were average, we regulary had cold water while showering. Yet they were clean. Music till 00:00, quite cosy, it was vacation after all and the children didn't wake up because of it.

03/09/2007 We rented a mobile home, nice asphalted road at the camping. The sanitary facilities got cleaned a lot. Nice beach at the lake and a lovely pool. The stage, the bar and the restaurant didn't look cosy, but if you didn't mind that, then this was a lovely camping with big spots.

22/08/2007 We had a fantastic vacation, from the 25th of July - the 8th of August. We had some perfect weather, around 30 degrees Celsius. Indeed, the water of the pool was quite cold, but the children didn't have a problem with it! The pools were super, too bad that they didn't make a lawn around it. It would have been more relaxing and quieter, especially with children. The sanitary facilities weren't always great. the building at the pool was dirty, but that had to do with the children who used it. The lake was super!!!! Not deep at all. Perfect for all children. Our spots were very big, but there were also very small spots. The entertainment/music lasted till 00:00. It was cosy, apart from the karaoke evening...

19/06/2008 Beautiful, lots to do but noise hindrance until late at night, small spots and very massive. Pool water was very cold. Next year we'll look for a smaller and more quiet camping.
