Reviews Campsite Le Tedey***

05/08/2010 We have just spent 4 nights high season at Le Tedey (most other campsites insisted on 7 nights min high season). We'd have stayed longer if we had the time. We love the huge Altantic beach so every day we drove the 5km to Lacanau Ocean beach (free parking), walked across the dunes to the life guarded beach to surf etc. The fresh water in Lacanau lake at the campsite was lovely and warm in comparison. There's a large shallow area - ideal for small kids or for my teenagers to play diving catch games. The pitches are under pine trees - probably why the campsite asked the dimesions of our camper or we could have had a trouble fitting round the pine trees in the pitch area. Although the site was pretty full I was amazed by how quiet it was. Rules say silence between 11pm and 7am and staff patrol. Live music at the bar was brilliant one night and OK another, but I was glad our pitch wasn't next to it. There are kids clubs high season but we didn't bother. The crazy golf was fun though.

30/07/2007 Year 7 at Le Tedey and more will follow. Beautifully situated at the lake and within cycling distance from the sea. Nice bar, artists perfrom there every 2, 3 days. A real family place.

12/08/2007 We stayed at Le Tedey for the first time this year and we probably won't be back again. A very unquiet campsite, also due to the lake bar. Also, our noisy neighbours behind us woke us up several times. Sanitary isn't much, especially with small children.

06/08/2007 Nice campsite, we were here with 3 kids (16, 13, 9). Even though it was high season, it was never really crowded. There was always something to do in the bar. The lake was great for surfing and swimming. The sea was spectacular. The elder two often went t
