I'm not usually someone, who returns to a camping where I've been. But this camping is so appealing that we're going back now for the 4th time. The camping is on top of a mountain so that you have an excellent view of the valley of the Allee or of Pradeaux and Uson. Friendly staff that can converse in many languages, good sanitation, roomy spaces, plenty of washing facilities, sufficient activities for the youths. a visit to the Chateau is definitely worthwhile. Eating out is is possible in the tavern for a simple, but good meal or in the Chateau where you feel yourself transferred back to the 14th century. A large swimming pool for big and small, or a nice swim in the Allee; but take care, this is a fast flowing river, where you can also take a kayak. Chateau Grange Fort is ideal as far as I'm concerned and furthermore we find peace and quiet in Auvergne, which also offers a lot to see and do.

We had somewhat higher expectation of this camping. What disturbed us is that there are so many Dutch; the international character is therefore minimal. Furthermore the sanitation: bad! When used intensively hardly any warm water and when washing up hardly any pressure.
Otherwise there are some activities, but these are without variation and badly organized.
EUR 5 ffor the one load of washing is very expensive.
On the big field where we were there were a lot of people arriving or leaving, which caused disturbance.

Positive is the location, it is a great base from which to make the many excursions to all of nature's beauty and the characteristic villages.
Also positive is that bad weather often passes by the camping and that fair weather is almost a certainty in that case.
