Reviews Campsite Le Ty Nadan*****

10/08/2010 Recently returned from a 2 week stay at Ty Nadan in a touring caravan. Holidayed as a family of 2 plus 3 kids (all under 7). The location is rather remote and weather can be localised and poorer than nearby coastline resorts. Visits to towns 20 to 30 miles away are very worthwhile. Quite a variety in pitches and it may be a lottery whether you get one on the sunnier side of the site (Arzano end). These were not only sunnier but bigger and serviced by a new toilet block. As could be expected site was busy, especially as it had some pitches and most spare land for kids summer boot camps - most were excellently well behaved but some were troublesome. On-site kids club wasn't too well run, activities basic and loosely supervised. Older kids better catered for with excellent activities like paintball and horse riding. The site wasn't too noisy of a night with reasonable entertainment that's unlikely to spoil people's stay. Staff helpful and attentive. In short, a good site but may be better

06/09/2007 They had a lot of activities at this camping. The camping improved the last year, with many mobile homes. The majority of the guests were British. The old sanitary buildings were not worth the 4 stars. The new building was better, but it was a longer walk. The children liked Peter, the Dutch lifeguard. The camping was located at a remoted spot. You had to drive 30 minutes to get to the nice places.

15/08/2007 Pretty camping, nice location in the middle of the countryside. Quite far away from the supermarket (etc.) though, but they were well reachable. Many guests from Great-Brittany. The weather was a bit of a disappointment. The mobile home was very clean at arrival. The pool were nice and clean. The water outside was a bit cold. Inside it was nice though, only the temperature of the jacuzzi was a disappointment. The restaurant and take-away food was bad. Cold pizza, weak French fries....bad. The covered hall was perfect though! Many organized activities, great. I really recommend the activities! At night it was quiet at the camping. Around midnight there was anything to do there anymore. The youngsters were usually sitting at the campfire or playing table-tennis. There was also often a club there for the youngsters. Small, hot and expensive drinks, but definately cosy! The pictures on their website were old. But it's worth visiting though!

28/07/2007 Good well maintained family camping with nice entertainment for all ages. Our children didn't feel bored at all. Especially entertainer Peter (Dutch) was great. There was also some Dutch personnel, but English was no problem either. We'll definitely return there someday.

27/07/2007 Nice camping, many sporty activities for all ages. Nice pool. The baths were very neat. Good camping.
