A nice and clean camping which has no atmosphere at all. If the children should happen to make some noise after 7pm security guards already start complaining. And from say 9pm onwards you could have heard a pin drop, it is that quiet. The camping has an advantageous location, close ti the shops and in the middle of the beautiful district of Jura. In the neighbourhood there are caves and waterfalls. With a bit more cheerfulness and less strict rules this (50+) camping could be a really great camping.

We just got back from a vacation Jura. Nice location, beautiful surrounding with big camping space. We've been here 6 days, too bad the weather was bad, else we would have stayed longer.

Maybe we are a bit prejudiced, but this has been our favourite camping for many years now. Except for the warm welcome you receive from the camping owner and his wife, this place just feels like coming home, when we arrive at Champagnole. The camping is located centrally to make trips from in all directions. From the Mont d'Or with a view of the Mont Blanc (45 mins) to the various caves (10 mins) and the waterfalls (in Herrisson) (15 mins). The spots on the site are spacious, as was mentioned previously. Upon arrival at the reception you can select the most suitable site yourself. You can also reserve places via the website or by telephone (which is recommended). If your French is not great, then ask for Patrick. There are plenty of places to eat in Champagnole; from pizza places to fancy restaurants. The restaurant is not bad, especially for a quick bite.
