10/08/2010 We booked something described as a "Gite Kalon". It wa so disgusting that we refused to stay. It was dirty, poorly furnished, stained mattresses, dark and gloomy. The worst thing was the smell. It was located above teh toilet block. It completely ruined our holiday.

30/06/2008 We stayed here in June, in a mobile home which lay very beautifully, but had much shade. evenings and nights were very very cold, fortunately there was a small heater, you also really needed this. Staff is quite pleasant, only the opening hours of the reception are strange; clsoed between 12am - 5pm!! Also it was not possible to check out before 9am, inconvenient if you must drive a while still. On the camp-site there is really nothing to do, and sanitary facilities were dirty, also water wasn't very warm, especially to wash it was too cold, this camp-site is really not worth its 3 stars!! There were two Dutch interns who were very pleasant and helpful, which were very nice, nothing but praise for these two ladies!! Surrounding area is splendid. Visiting Lods, a very nicely old town, can certainly be advised!! Cycling disappointed, it was very steep, a shame, because it would have been very beautiful to cycle there. There are few places to eat and they don't open 'till late.

27/06/2008 We stayed here with 2 small kids in June. The mobile home had many flaws that weren't fixed. The wading pool wasn't filled and filthy (the brochure mentioned it was open from April onwards!?) Bar/restaurant staff was very friendly but they only sold fries and fast food, nothing else was available whereas the menu did mention other things. The 2 girls working for our tour operator were very nice.

22/06/2008 This camping is certainly not worth 3 stars! The sanitary was very dirty, we were glad to have a mobile home! The eating houses in the area weren't special either. The area is beautiful though!! On your departure day you cannot check out until 9AM; the reception isn't open earlier than that. The 2 ladies of Vacansoleil who worked an internship really did their best to accommodate all guests, we have to give them credit for that; they did a wonderful job!!

03/05/2008 We have just returned, pool was closed and dirty, entertainment was not present, snack bar was closed too.
Surrounding area is splendid!
For older children there was nothing to do.
There is much maintenance due.
Mobile home was good.

04/09/2007 Reception and hospitality weren't too great when we arrived. Perhaps because it was the last week and she spent 4 months there.

03/09/2007 Nice camping, very beautiful surroundings. A lot of animation for the kids and a disco for kids once a week. On the camping itself there's not much to do, but in the surroundings a lot!

10/09/2007 Very nice, quiet camping with friendly staff. Good helpful staff at the reception, we got lots of info as well. You can do many nice things in the surroundings and we took a lot of trips. Not much to do for the kids though.

03/10/2007 We were there in spring/June 2007.
1 toilet building was terribly old and dirty.
The other building was reasonable, but not great.
We had rented a tent from a touroperator. This was very good!!
Places to eat were good too. Brother of the owner worked there, a really nice guy.
Interns were terribly young. A number of them were very moody and not interested, a shame because the reception is where you should make people feel welcome, this is not good advertisement for them.
I was entitled to a refund for the rental of a locker which I did not use. This unfortunately took a number of months and various angry e-mails before at last it was back on my account. Bad experience!
all in all, we were not that satisfied. I have experienced better camp-sites.
