The rooms are tiny and so are the bathrooms. It's not really clean but it isn't filthy. They didn't change the beds during our four day stay (they just made them). Breakfast was really nice.

Perfect location, near Gard Du Nord, so if you're travelling by train, go here!

Hotel Appia is really a very nice hotel. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly daily and the breakfast was superb. So not like a french breakfast. The neigborhood is very unsafe though, it's like the Harlem of Paris. You can real the hotel very good by subway. Gare du nord and Gare de L'est are a 100 meter walk.
