We knew not too expect too much for this price, but we were pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect. The rooms are ok but don't expect much luxury. You only have to sleep there anyway. We each had a separate bed. For breakfast all you got was an old french bread with marmelade and tea/coffee and chocolate milk.

I stayed in the Hôtel de Roubaix ten years ago (cheap trip to Paris). This is a basic hotel but it's fairly nice. I stay in Paris twice a year and I always stay in this hotel. I book it by sending them either an email or a fax. I will be staying here again in June 2007. It's 73 euros for a double room with 2 breakfasts included. This is really cheap as Paris is really expensive. Don't expect the Hilton! The location is excellent! We don't mind the small rooms or the noisy guests here (this is because this isn't the hotels fault. It's the fault of anti-social guests here) Overall: This is a really nice hotel for a short stay in Paris. I think some people need to get rid of their high expectations. You really do get what you pay for. Don't complain about it all but instead enjoy this fantastic city. It doesn't have to be that expensive when you know the right places to visit. I can really recommend this hotel!
