The hotel looks great from the outside and the location is perfect, around the corner from the best shops and within a few metres of the Rue du Bac metro - ideal also if attending Porte de Versailles fairs, like I was: journey door to door was 15 minutes by metro, quicker than the taxi. Had booked the slightly more expensive Executive room, which to me seemed like a normal hotel room, but with very comfortable bed and unusually good air-conditioning which did not need adjusting. Bathroom was stylish and everything worked well, although toiletries were a letdown: no conditioner or moisturiser.
I did not have breakfast, the breakfast area was adjacent to the lobby which was often busy in the mornings, saw one busload of travellers get in around 10 am - so not a tranquil as you'd hope for breakfast. Newspaper selection was great, El Pais, Le Figaro - and The Guardian (& The Observer)!
No food is available after 10pm which is odd, but the restaurant next door serves good basic bistro type food until late. Hotel staff were efficient and nice, I will definitely be staying again.
