I read about a lot of noise and about small rooms. So we brought along some earplugs. But we weren't bothered at all by any noise. They had double glazing there and we stayed on the front. So we had a good rest, without having to use the earplugs. Our room was small and also the dining room was very small. Not really a problem, since everything was neat and clean. And the breakfast looked good. You couldn't park the car in those streets. You needed a special chipcard to pay. You could park it for a minute or so in the reserved spots (for the police) to unload your suitcases. The people at the hotel showed us to a big garage near the shopping centre Italie 2 (30 euros/day). Rue de Mouffetard was quite nearby (a 10 minutes walk). And from there the centre of Paris started. We had a great weekend. In google maps the adres was mentioned as Rue Philippe de Champaigne.

I was travelling alone but rented a double room. Good thing too, this room was small, I can only imagine how small a normal single room would be. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but the staff was grumpy and unfriendly. I didn't feel like a guest there. Room although it was small was clean. My room had a view of the police station. A lot of noise from the police officers. I witnessed some arrests too from my room. Tip: Ask for a room at the frontside. The hotel needs to put in double glass windows. For the price you pay, they should. I paid 88 euros per night for a double room. And you get the absolute minimum for that. There are better hotels in Paris.

Well worth your money.
We had a very small room at the backside unfortunately. But the room was clean and tidy.
The staff was very friendly. There is continuously someone at the reception who speaks English well!
Breakfast was very good! Buns, muffins, cakes, croissants, orange juice, yoghurt, etc etc.
The area is very pleasant. For Parijs, rather quiet. Also within easy reach by Metro.
Price (we paid 140 euro p.p. for 4 nights )/quality ratio is very good.
