The sheets here didn't smell very clean. There were hairs in the bed (I thought they looked like body hairs). I didn't think the towels were clean either, one of them even had a brown stain. I asked them to change the sheets and towels but they didn't even though they promised us they would. There are insects in the building. The toilet in the lobby was really dirty. The food (breakfast) wasn't fresh. We skipped it (group of four men). The owner made some nasty slurs about my sexual preferences (I know you, you're dirty) when we complained about the state of the sheets and the towels for the second time. I know you can't expect luxury for 33 euros per night but I had hoped it was going to be cleaned... I'm also convinced that the person who stays in room 37 will find dirty underwear in the wardrobe behind the towels. If that wasn't enough all of us were sick for a week after staying there. I mean it, I'm not joking. This place is truly disgusting.

We stayed in the Pavia hotel after we had left the new montmartre hotel in disgust,
We were really satisfied with the Pavia hotel.
The owners spoke excellent English (unlike some French people) and they were really friendly. They asked us what we wanted to see and they explained how to get there. The room wasn't new but it was clean and tidy. The bathroom and the toilet are old but clean. The hotel is really near the Moulin-Rouge and the metro stop is about five minutes away.
If you're looking for a nice hotel in Paris that won't break the budget then this is the place to come and stay. It's not really luxurious but the service is excellent. The rooms are clean and it's just a really nice place to come and stay.

I read a lot of negative comments, but I liked this place. A lovely hotel for a couple of days. A small room, but I didn't need a large room. A cosy place. A clean bathroom. They cleaned the place every day. I used my own sheets and towels. Their sheets and towels were fine too. We weren't able to hang the shower head to a hook or something. Flat pillows. The toilet didn't flush properly, but my boyfriend fixed it immediately. They were vacuuming the place between 11:00 and 15:00 o'clock. We stayed at a room next to the elevator so we heard some noises. It didn't bother us though. The owner was a kind woman. A crowded dining room. The breakfast was ok. I liked the underground station. A lovely city. I can recommend exploring the area!
