The bathroom was dirty. The drains didn't work properly. Some of the lamps in the room were broken. The room was stuffy. Breakfast is mediocre: nice croissant, French bread and jam. The staff here are really hospitable. It's only a few minutes away from Gare de l'Est. The location is excellent.

The personnel didn't speak English. Only one towel during your stay. I can recommend brining your own pillow. The pillow at this place was poor. A small bathroom.

Gare du Nord around 300 metres away, clean small rooms. All very basic. Bathroom very small. Staff is very friendly, poor english though. Location is very nice, close to a lot of shops and restaurants.
