Beautiful and quiet camp-site. We rented a caravan via the camp-site, the trailer was still rather new and cleaned well. The stands are spacious.

Wonderful pool for the children with sufficient space to sit and lie. The playground lies a bit at the back.

In the surrounding area there is enough to do. A must is Carcasonne (medieval city), midgetgolf (Tropical) and the quaint village of Collioure.

Shops are near.

The camp-site is located between D914 and a road and is beside a railway. The noise nuisance from the roads is considerable. Upon arrival you have to immediately pay for your reservation. My advice, have a quick look around the camping before you decide to stay there, there are many small stands. Restaurant owner organizes gigs, 3 times a week so loud that you could not utter a word to each other on the terrace and the people at place 74,75,76,77 are shaking in their tents. These places lie, moreover, close to the road along the camp-site where a considerable amount of traffic drives past. Not suitable for people with small children. It is however a very good camp-site nice to use as an base to get to the beaches from. Where you could park everywhere is and there is no music, and this is why it is nice and quiet. For children there is, apart from the pool and 2 table-tennis tables, not much to do. 

This camping is not all that big. There are many caravans here, which you can rent for relatively little money compared to the other campings. The camping itself is not very special; the pool is alright but the beach in Argelas is much nicer but it is about a 5 mins drive from la coste rouge (free parking on the spot). It is a very peaceful camping and offers some privacy on most of the patios of the stands. Apart from that there is a small shop and a restaurant and in the high season many activities are organised.
