The camp-site is quite boring, certainly with two kids aged 12 and 13 years. All activities are aimed at French people. They hardly speak any English, also not at the reception. There are no walking and cycling opportunities. However, the camp-site is a nice point to start several excursions from.

Last year (2006) I worked for a half year at this camp-site. It is nice to work there but it is also terrible quiet. Not really a tourist camp-site such as the camp-sites furtheraway, such as La sirene. Also worked on this camp-site a considerable time, it is very nice and certainly a must!

We went to this camp-site last year in August. Also if you speak a little French it is still hard to get a smile from people. The ladies at the reception are, however, nice but the owners not at all. Large stands with our our own sanitary facilities are very good, it was clean and we were not troubled by floods. Much shade because of the high trees. However, there is some noise pollution from the adjacent camp-site. The beach in Argeles is great! If you go in time, it is not busy. Skilfully to take along your own beach/ligstoeltjes. Few cultural things to visit but nice to shop and go to a few outdoor cafes. Parking is free at the beach. Around 10.00am there still are enough spaces.
