Barjac is a splendid French town where it is nice to destress. Pleasant tradesmen/restaurant staff. Centrally lcoated for a lot of places of interest. Bicycles, canoes, quads; everything reachable within half an hour.

Very quiet in the pre-season.
No nice patios to stay on at night.
However, there are some good restaurants, especially the one in the old capuciner monastery.
Local bakery (Le Petit Mitron) is very good with a good selection of breads.

Beautiful area, nice beaches at the river, in the area several other larger cities (day trip to Avignon can be advised). nice markets. In short, something for everyone.
