Sweet small village. Pleasant people, a baker with excellent bread. epicerie where the son speaks some words in Dutch. Bar with sociable bouncers (you must get to know them however, a bit)

Cardet is a nice place, only small. There is no supermarket. However, there is a small shop. There are no places to go out. Also no possibilities to go out for food. Beaches are not really there. We were on the camp-site and there was a river.

Cardet is a very quiet village. Surrounded by elaborate vinyards. Because of the location at the foot of the splendid Cevennes, it is the ideal base to go for tourist sightseeing. Cardet lies at the river the Gardon, where one can cool down in the summer
