Cosy village to stroll around at night. Many shops, though with standard-toeuristy stuff or ice cream, therefore cosily lively. nice restaurants along the harbour and streets, the boulevard with gigs.

town is very touristy, the main part consists of camp-sites, apartments and there is also in port Camargue an enormous yacht harbour.

We did not like Grau itself much, many shops with junk, cheap public, a bit of a ramshackle village.
Aiges Mortes has much more atmosphere, surrounding area of Grau was great though, good base.
Sts. Maries de les Bains was much nicer and more attractive,
