19/08/2011 Camping cala gogo in France is the worst camping site my family and i have ever been to.
The pitch that we were allocated had hardly any outdoor living space whatsoever, our bedroom window was opposite our next door neighbours decking, so that when they returned at 12.30 in the morning and carried on drinking on the decking we were woken up and could not get back to sleep.
On the second day of our holiday on returning back from the beach, there were around about 20 to 30 French men and women playing metal bowls directly outside our van, and leaning and sitting on my car. we complained endless times but this continued all throughout our stay. it is a very noisy site, with the entertainment going on until 11.30 and then the adult disco going on until the early hours, followed by them returning back to there tents drunk and continuing with loud music played through their car stereos, security was non existent, beach was stoney and was very deep as soon as you got in, staff and site awfu

28/06/2008 We rented a mobile home for 6 persons, for the third time and it was great again! The staff was friendly, the furniture was clean and the swimming pool was spick and span. It's pretty strict there indeed (no jumping/diving, no balls etc.) but that makes it ideal for a quiet vacation with small children. There are a lot of stones on the beach and watershoes are really necesary. If you go to St.Cyprien itself you will find a beach without stones and that's not too steep either. A fierce wind is blowing in the region, which is typical over there but with these high temperatures this feels rather good. Recommendable to all that enjoy sun, water and lovely nature.

23/08/2007 A kind reception. The personnel spoke English with a little Dutch. Some of the personnel spoke Dutch. The extension cord was rather small, so they gave us a new one immediately. We enjoyed the beach. The pebbles didn't bother us, because we wore slippers. I enjoyed the waves. I can imagine how it can be rather poor for a family with kids. They should be able to swim because the water isn't shallow anymore suddenly. The pool was fine. It depended on the lifeguard how they reacted when someone broke a rule. It was very noisy during the night. We didn't like that.

19/08/2007 We came back yesterday from Cala Gogo. Not exactly what we expected. For example the beach. The pebbles and the sloping sea weren't nice for our kids (9 and 12 years old). The personnel at the pool were poor. They read a book. The pool is boring. You aren't allowed to bring a ball. The baby pool was crowded with French youngsters. They let it go because they were French in my opinion. The restaurants were expensive. Poor lighting during the evening. We booked a caravan. We showered once, but it smelled funny over there. The personnel was kind, some of them weren't. The entertainment was French, so we didn't see it. They won't see us again.
