Limogges has a very attractive medieval centre, lots of half timbered buildingds and little alley ways. Loads os good restaurants, great market hall and one of the best and oldest cheese shops in the area. Not much to do for kids ither than the ice rink. Botanical gardens well worth a visit.

Went to La creuse, a trip for single parents. In one word: great! We stayed in an old villa with all things needed. We got spoiled rotten, the kids were taken care of, so we were homefree. Meals were included: lovely week.

Dream place. Lots of french culture, lovely homes and great French people that like to talk to you in English. Recommended for culture lovers. The size of Utrecht but very clean and not busy. Great city.
