17/09/2012 We have been going to this site off and on for nearly 30 yrs and I am really disappointed with its current condition. same owners although I think the son runs it now but no investment for years and most facilities are 2 star at best. The site is closing earlier each year and I think it is prioritising its accomodation and weddings over the camping site.

17/07/2011 DO NOT come to this campsite unless you are prepared to have your holiday spoiled by the cockerels, which are allowed to freely roam around the site 'cock-a-doodle-dooing' waking you up every morning between 4am and 5am! They are very loud and extremely annoying.

Also, the toilet and shower blocks are very basic. There are no sinks and soap within the WC block. If you go for a shower, you will have hardly any room to change and move around.

On a positive note, the site is within a reasonable driving distance of Bayeux, Caen and the surrounding D-Day tourist attractions. The staff are friendly enough, the restaurant is ok and there is free WiFi. The kids have a basic playground, a swimming pool and a tennis court, although 5 Euros per hour for tennis is quite expensive.

Despite the few positive aspects, the cockerels really spoil the site, so for that reason I will definitely not be coming back and would urge caution for those considering coming to the site. That's quite a shame real

22/08/2007 A nice camping with spacious stands. You have to take a good look where you want to stay, as not all stands are that nice. The pool is deep and small, but was adequate for our kids. The fish pond was a big success with our children. The mini-club was a disappointment. The sanitary facilities were small and not always that clean. There shower jet was powerful though and the temperature adjustable.

14/08/2007 A nice and peaceful camping . We went there for a week in August. The sanitary facilities need improvements!! (dirty) Apart from that the people are very friendly and the stands are nice.

03/08/2007 A very nice camping to stay for a few days. But the sanitary facilities are cramped and don't always smell fresh. Apart from that you can go for a nice swim and there are spacious stands. The distance to the sanitary facilities are a bit much from some stand. Close to Bayeux, Caen and the beach.
