27/07/2010 We stayed in a chalet at la anse du brick.The chalet was basic,but very clean and comfortable with an amazing sea view.Our daughter,aged 7,loved the pool and slide.The pool is lovely,the warmest I have ever been in.She also joined in with some of the kids club activities,which were good.The shop is ok for basics,especially fresh bread and croissants.There is a supermarket about 10 mins drive away.The beach is nice and sandy.Good for sandcastles,and for watching the sunset.There is a field to park cars in ilf you dont want to walk.It isnt far but there is a steep hill up to the top of the campsite. We will certainly be going back again.

with a beach at walking distance. Also walkable for smaller childeren.

22/10/2009 What a fantastic spot, situated in the hills , view over the ocean, sheltered sand beach and a lovely walking area, straight behind the campiste with a magic wood and river. Our children really enjoyed the informal character and the animation organised in high season. I personaly think it is also very suitable for couples who enjoy nature as this campsite is surrounded by it. You will be so happy if you have booked your holiday here, we are indeed!!!
The staff is very friendly and the restaurants were just what we needed.
If you are looking for a chalet or cottage, they are all brand new and most have a fantastic view over the sea.

27/09/2009 The Campground at L'Anse du Brick was fine. The grounds were planted really nicely however i had massive problems with billing. I stayed in July 2009 and when i left i confirmed with reception twice that my account was settled. However two months later i found that they charged my credit card for 120 euros. They did not tell me that they had did this or offer any explanation until i contacted them distressed and confused. It was very disapointing. It was no better than any other campground and for the stress i just wouldn't stay here!

18/09/2009 L'Anse Du Brick is a cracking place in a brilliant position,with stunning views over a picturesque bay and woodland walks adjacent to the Camp Site.
All the pitches are generous and chalets are clean,well-appointed and well maintained.
The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful,as are all the other staff!!

17/09/2009 We had a fantasic time, our pitch was much lager than others we have stayed at. the facilities were second to none. the surrounding area is beautiful with the contrast of the sea and the heath land. Our children really enjoyed their stay with plenty for them to do and we were happy as we felt safe that they could explore on their own as the site was very safe. All the staff were very considrate and happy to help. Thank You for a very enjoyable stay.

15/08/2009 If you are looking for a super friendly, vibrant and family friendly holiday campsite, then look no further than Anse Du Brick. We spent a wonderful week here with three small children (aged 10, 7 and 2) and they all had a fantastic time. The site is so safe, clean and relaxed that we could enjoy the holiday too !!! The pitches are large, clean, well kept and flat - ideal for tents or campers alike. We will certainly be returning in the future.

10/09/2007 After 3 weeks stay on the camp-site:

In the high season the sanitary facilities are clean (but very small), there was much entertainment, and the opening hours of the facilities are good . pool temperature is 25 degrees according to their own information chalkboard, but it is much colder.

Out of season not only the prices go down, but also the service and quality. Visiting hours limit enormously and the bar/pizzeria even closes complete days. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities are cleaned but a little and the winter clearing starts on the camp-site. Complete armies of gardeners draw supplies and equipment concerning the camp-site all over the place. Not very peaceful and it is also possible according to me in October, when the camp-site is closed.

Other: Pins for the tent are a necessity. Take-aways price/quality far below par (pizzas excluded)

Surrounding area: Much to see and do. Omaha and Utah beach are however a good hour's drive. And St Mt Michel is a 2 hour's drive.

18/08/2007 We have just returned from a delightful holiday on this camping. We rented a mobile home, it was great. It had a nice view. The kids did not like the pool much. The beach was fun, we swam wonderfully in the sea. There is much to see and do in the area.

07/08/2007 Just returned from a couple of days in a country cottage, entirely at the on a corner. Wonderful quiet spot and beautiful cottage. However, it was small!! When the weather was nice it was finel, but when it was not as good, it is a bit small, this country cottage. A very small shower (boiler) and small room. But; the view was splendid. Do not forget the toll, above the travel sum and your bezine will certainly still be about 30 euro extra.
Beach; this week rising tide by day therefore it was almost impossible to swim there.
camp shop; the bread is good, apart from that, a bad selection for camping when the nearest hypermarket is about 10 km away!
Nice Lighthouse and the walks in the surrounding area; a must.

A splendid spot for rest seekers ......
