09/09/2007 A very neat camping. Nicely located close to the sea. Although it was just a bit too far from the sea to really enjoy the view. Furthermore, it was a shame that there was no beach adjacent to the camping. Apart from that the camping looks very neat and tidy. The caravan we had was also comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds were not as good though. Port en Bessin is quite conveniently located in the middle of the D-Day beaches. You can also easily go for nice trips by car. The staff at the camping are very kind. Small downside would have to be the pool. It is indoor which is an advantage when the weather is bad but it is still very small scale and simple. Apart from that it is an excellent camping.

28/08/2007 A cosy and pretty camping. There are many stands for caravans and tents and they also have their own caravans for hire. We have seldom come across such friendly staff at a French camping. If you could indicate a mark for service, we would have given it a 10/10. There are theme nights in the small restaurant, like mussels nights and a Normandy night (with traditional music). Especially the Normandy cake is worth a try! There are indeed many sights of interest in the area. Very impressive. The American military cemetary and the museum in Caen are unforgettable. We can recommend this camping!

12/08/2007 A nice camping. A good caravan on a henced in spot. Lovely and quiet. Our children, aged 10 and 13, had a really good time here. The management of the camping were very kind. It is a good starting point to see the D-day sights from. In short, we had a delightful week.
