04/09/2011 went camping with my family for the first time to pin parasol. the site was great and very clean. we had great weather the first 3 days then was horrible. one night we had a thunderstorm and thought our tent was going to go lol. it was very friendly and the pools were great. i would definatly recommend and would visit again but would stay in one of the mobile homes.

25/11/2008 Staff very welcoming. Pools great. We had our own tent and our pitch was excellent a good size bordered by attractive shrubs. Toilets and showers very clean even though site was busy. Lake Jaunay was beautiful and there was some lovely walks. On th down side the location was some miles from a village or town there was no restaurant or supermarket on site and we found the bar prices fairly high. There was a take away which was ok. Evening entertainment was adequate. On reflection it was not a site for young teenagers as there was little for them to do. How ever the site was beautifully kept and there seemed plenty for younger children to do.

23/04/2008 Last year in June I went here. Spend the night in a mobile home from Vacanselect. really spacious stands and nicely sheltered. Spacious veranda where you could nevertheless sit outside if it rained (which it did a looooot!)
Swimming pool is great. outdoors and indoors. Outdoors was quite cold! Take-away were very good, but quite expensive. In the nearby surrounding area there is not many places of interest ready but by car you get quite far. Beach is beautiful!

14/02/2008 well looked after sanitary facilities. Cottages must be inspected better everywhere and everything is outrageously expensive on the camp-site. for the rest; good facilities excellent.

24/09/2007 we went this year with three small children in a Bali trailer from vacansoleil. mobile home is perfect and you have really very beautiful large stands.
there had been just been built a new outdoor kids' pool and that looked simply splendid, only not heated. camp-sitd is tidy and nice. but in the complete Vendee there is really nothing to visit. sea is 13 kms away and it is a beautiful beach, only the sea is too wild for young children because of the undertow.
I would like to again to the camp-site, but not to this area.

14/08/2007 Very beautiful and quietly located camp-site. Very wide stands, which was very pleasant because of our tent and two smaller tents. Staff were very pleasant. You did miss, however, a small supermarket and what you could get from the camp shop was outrageously expensive (for example: 4.50 euros for a bottle ofCoca-Cola!)

Sanitary facilities were clean, but there were too few showers and toilets. Three showers and two toilets for both the men and the women. Regularly cold water and you had to wait often. Beautiful pool, bit on the small side,. camp-site is particularly suitable for families with young children. For older children there is nothing to do.

09/08/2007 We have just returned home. Caravan (camp2relax, vacanceselect) was very good, almost new. Wide covered patio. The pools, especially the new kids' pool with slides and other playground equipment, were also very good but indeed on the cold side.

Entertainment for the children and the play facilities (1 small playground and an entertainment team which existed of 1 person from vacancesoleil.) was not special.

The camp-site itself is beautiful and quietly located and the lake is breathtaking. Can be reached from the camp-site via 85 steps and is certainly worth it.

The customer-friendliness was, however, a downside: they hardly spoke any English) and they could not so much as give you one smile.

The weather was almost always better then the forecasts predicted… certainly at sea it was generally sunny!

28/08/2007 We, a family with 1 child aged 3 1/2 years) have just returned from a stay from 14-8-2007 till 27-8-2007. We found it was a good camp-site with wide stands, a beautiful caravan booked via vacancesoleil. Pools were good, a little cold certainly the outdoor pool and the kids' pool. The entertaiment for our daughter and for us was good, seen as Martine (vacancesoleil) had to do everything alone. Nevertheless, our daughter enjoyed the mini disco. The staff at the camp-site was cooperative and very pleasant and spoke poor English. and that whining of other evalutations which state that they did not speak any English... of course they don't, if you want that you should just stay at home. It is for a French man, as it happens, already quite good that they speak a little English I know from experience as an international driver and as a holidaygoer to France. And after a bad experience previous year (la travaiere in bretingnolles sur mer). This camp-site was certainly worth the visit and we shall definitely go here again.

03/11/2007 Last summer we stood 3 weeks on this camp-site. Very well looked after camp-site, good facilities, beautiful pool. We had very bad weater but can something about that. Cold, wind, rain. The pool is beautiful but staff is too strict with the children and frequently also the parents. It is a shame, it gets on your nerves quickly. Very beautiful camp-site places, particularly spacious, really have never seen them this large anywhere. No restaurant or cosy terrace and that was a shame. Especially because the rest of the camp-site is so beautiful and theuy can prepare perfect pizzas, mussels etc., they should in fact make a nice terrace around it, so that it is not only take-away. Our children, aged 9 and 10, look back on this camp-site as the nicest holiday so far. We think so too but that was because we met so many nice people. The indoor pool was too cold in the beginning but this was adjusted after a complaint. In the surrounding area there is not much to see. also no nice restaurants. Trailers are in a very good state, all new.
