10/08/2008 Been here before and this was excellent however booking this time has been a disaster maybe under new ownership?...many emails and unfortunately had to cancel but they made sure they took full payment first then said we could have nothing back at all as we hadn't taken their insurance - BEWARE!!!

05/02/2009 Beautiful sandy beach. Wow!
The site is set in the forest just behind the dune, it takes 3 minutes to walk to the beach
Atmosphere is friendly, staff is helpful.
Surroundings: lots to do (lovely local markets, watersports, entertainment in La Tranche sur Mer, tree climbing park, Aquarium, etc)
No indoor pool or tennis court or anything like that though. small site, different from all the other campsites i've been to.
Will definitely go back.

15/01/2009 The site is under new ownership. The younh lady at reception is very helpful and speaks perfect english.
The site is small so you can let you children play and run around with no worries. There's also a children club every morning. The beach is beautiful, and there are lifeguards in summer.
The gate closes at 11pm until 7am so the site is quiet at night. There is a digicode to walk in at night, very safe site. (i think it's new, they didn't have it in 2007 ).
The pool is a bit small but i was ok for us, as we like the beach better.

06/08/2007 We stayed here in July 2007. It is a small camping about 250 yards from a beautiful beach. The English owners have sold the place to French people. The camping stands are quite good, although there were caravans scattered about the camping criss-cross. The sanitary facilities were alright, there were cleaned twice a day but they would get dirty after a while again. The entertainment was in French and don't understand English. They did try but there were not much do it yourself activities.

25/08/2006 Very sociable, small-scale camp-site with a beautiful pool visited by us in the summer of 2006!! Beautiful surroundings on the way to the beach, however, it is quite far to walk, certainly with small children. The sanitary facilities are completely obsolete but clean. This camp-site would be worth another visit to us, particularly because of the accomodation; a rented and very neat bungalow tent.

07/07/2006 Paradise in the Vendee. We went her in June 2006 for 13 nights with our tent and enjoyed a quiet holiday. Nice and attentive administrators. Beautiful surroundings and clean beach at a couple of hundred meters away where we walked (or laid) for hours. Child-friendly pool on the camp-site. Superb surroundings. Closest place where it is nice to stay: La tranche sur Mer. (large hypermarket a.o.). Although we had planned it in avance we decided to return for a week in September.
