Well kept site, car free and safe for children to roam, with play areas, football, tennis and lovely wooded areas. Houses are basic but ours was clean and well equipped. Difficult to keep the floors clean after some rain as no door mats outside the patio door entrance and no cover for our outdoor area. Some houses had a roof over their patio. Alot noise from neighbours on a couple of warm evenings well after the 10.30pm quiet time. Friendly guests, staff are efficient and speak a little english. Recommend hiring bikes to get around local area and to get to the beach. Fantastic cycle tracks everywhere through the pine forests. Pool area clean, lots of sunbeds, exellent tennis courts, bar area with drinks, snacks and ice creams. Small grocery stores nearby and supermarkets 5 mins in the car. I'm a little puzzled by the 5pm arrival time. Very difficult for most people coming from England who arrive at 8.15am at St Malo. Somewhere to leave luggage, use toilets, etc would be good.

We have stayed here for several years. It is a small family run site. The site is completey car free and is a very safe enviroment for children of all ages. Families with toddlers would be better with 2 downstairs bedrooms as main bedroom is downstairsand some have small twin room up stairs.

The owners are very helpfull at all times.

As a family we have never experienced such a friendly site before, children of all ages will play together. There is a childrens club during school holidays for small children, with football, badmington ,tennis etc for the older children ( all free of charge). My children are 15 and 17 and still want to holiday at Le Victoria!!

St Jean de Montes is not the most picturesque sea front, a bit 70s high rise appartments, however the cycle tracks through the forest from le Victoria are lovely and can be used to travel miles north and south. The promenade is also lovely and again a nice cycle or walk. The beach is enormous and sandy with beautiful sunsets.

Very nice resort with no cars so very safe for the kids. Cars are parked at the front car park with luggage/shopping transported in handy trolleys. The 1-2 storey apartments are all laid out nicely, not crammed together and are surrounded by lots of plants/trees. Very nice pool that was pretty quiet when we were there. Pool fully fenced in with safety gates. Accommodation was good with the only gripe being the lack of comfy seating (1 sofa bed in a 4/6 apartment). Nice covered patio area and private garden with ours. ~10/15min walk to both beach and town. Beach at St Jeans is huge and seafront did not seem tacky. Bikes available for hire, with cycle tracks in the woods and all along the coast down to St Gilles. Not sure what it is like in high season but was nice and quiet with a good mix of nationalities and ages. Would go back.

We stayed here at the end of July/beginning of August. A nice small-scale condo, well-maintained. The people are friendly. The children can just go their way. There are many activities (football, waterpolo, volleyball, tennis courts etc.) Many guests were frequent visitors.

We stayed at this nicely layed out park in may 2004 in a beautifull maisonnette. You can just feel the nature around you. A lot of rest, fit for families with small children. Saint Jean de Monts we didn't really like it ourselves. Rather you could just take the car and drive a bit down. There you can find splendid untouched bays and much more beautiful beaches. It was very quite but we were there in the pre sesaon. A visit to the splenid city La Rochelle can be recommend, located very impressively to the water.

A magnificent holiday resort. The people are very kind and the pool is nice. We had a unique holiday and we will definitely go back again.
